The discount is calculated on any combination of titles
ordered and shipped to one address at one time. Sales
tax is applicable in CA, CO, CT, IN, MA, MI, NJ, NY, TN, and Canada. If your business is tax exempt, please supply a tax-exempt certificate.
Restrictions: This discount may not be combined with
any other special offers, such as our standard Upgrade
Policy for new editions. Shipping and handling
charges are extra and will not be discounted.

New Accounts
Companies that wish to establish net 30-day terms are
asked to submit a credit application. A minimum of
$500 in annual sales must be achieved before a line of
credit will be extended. Until the $500 minimum is
reached, all orders must be prepaid.
Terms
Terms are net 30 days from invoice date upon receipt
of an approved credit application. Shipments may be
withheld on past due accounts.
Shipping and Handling
Shipping and handling charges are additional on all
orders. In the U.S., orders are shipped UPS ground
unless otherwise specified. Orders for Canada are
shipped via Livingston or DHL.
Returns, Credits, and Refunds
Any book in print and in salable condition may be
returned at the customer's expense for credit. The value of
the credit will be based on the corresponding invoice that
accompanies the return, or the average discount
the customer received on purchases during the previous year. If
there is no record of account purchases for the previous
year and no corresponding invoice with the returned
book, credit will be issued at 45 percent of the original retail
value.
We will not accept returns from any customer without
an open O'Reilly account.
Books returned to us in error will not be sent
back to the customer.
Customers may not deduct returns from current bills
prior to a credit memo being issued.
Out-of-Print Returns
Books will be accepted and credited four months from the
date the book is declared out of print as published on
the O'Reilly web site. Returns received within 120 days
of declaration will receive a credit value based on the
average discount the customer received on purchases during the previous year.
Returns of out-of-print books received after 120
days from declaration will not receive credit, nor will
they be returned to the customer.
Damaged/Mis-Shipped Titles
Please call customer service within 30 days of product
receipt for a Return Merchandise Authorization
(RMA) and to arrange for free freight return. Any
returns shipment made using RMA authorization and
claiming free freight must contain only titles related to
that authorization. Books not listed on the RMA will
be assessed freight charge, based on estimated freight
costs.
Damaged or mis-shipped books without an RMA will
not be given credit, nor will books be returned to the
customer.
